the annual yatra to Amarnath shrine can procure a short-term 'yatra card',
a pre-paid SIM which will have a validity of seven days.

For yatra Registration
You need to apply in advance so that you could get Darshan ticket as earliest
as possible.
You also need to carry
Medical certificate for amarnathji Darshan by an authorised
doctor.
The Union Home Ministry
has given in-principle approval for having such a facility, the first time
since mobile operations started in the country, in view of problems faced
by pilgrims who do not have mobile connectivity, official sources said.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu
Pardeep Gupta reviewed the arrangements for the yatra, which is going to
start from June 24 this year, at an officers meeting here.
Gupta discussed various
matters with the civil and police administration with a view to ensure
timely arrangements for the ensuing the Amarnath yatra.
He stressed the need
for greater synergy and coordination between the civil administration,
police, security forces, shrine board authorities and other concerned departments
to ensure that the required arrangements are put in place well in time.
Registration of pilgrims
visiting the shrine from both Baltal and Chandanwari routes began across
the country through 174 bank branches and Internet based e-registration
system.

Board has set up registration counters at 121 designated branches of the
J-K Bank, 49 branches of the YES Bank and 4 District Cooperative Banks. |
