Mis INDIA 2005 - Sindhura GADDE Sindhura was born in Vijaywada, grew up with her grandparents in Andhra Pradesh, then joined her parents who were working abroad, thus having many exciting overseas trips, she finished her schooling in New Zealand where she began her career in the media and fashion industry. Sindhura is currently in Mumbai where she is in her final year towards a double degree in Pharmacology & Physiology, a comprehensive First Aid Course and a diploma in advanced modelling. Her ambition is two fold, to enter into Pharmaceutical Research and explore the media and fashion industry around the globe. She has also taken an introduction course in Chinese, Japanese & Arabic. Hobbies are: Singing, dancing (Jazz, Latin, Ballroom & Indian Classical), reading, movies, cooking. Sporting interests are: snow boarding, beach volleyball, sky diving, scuba diving, netball, basketball & badminton. Her personal motto is "Work hard, play harder! Don’t just exist, live!".

Ami VASHI  India Impulsive and sincere, Ami sees herself conquering many milestones that would help strengthen her character and enable her to shape society. The Sunsilk Femina Miss India will provide her a platform through which she can realise those dreams and influence people's minds, thoughts and actions.  Dancing, reading and spending quality time with friends and family is what interests Ami the most.  "Beauty is strength of character. As simple as that!" says Ami.  Ami aims to grow as a professional and "leave my footprint in this world as a humanitarian who has changed the shape of the society." Five years from now, she hopes to conquer milestones, “which strengthen my character and enable me to further shape our society”.  Ami is most inspired by her mother who, she says, personifies the essence of being a woman. "She exemplifies strength, courage, compassion and love," she adds.  MY PASSION… learning about different cultures because that creates an understanding of how different people live, thereby helping me to grow as a person.  MY MOST ENDEARING FEATURE… my heart because the love that flows from my heart can captivate anyone.  I HATE…. when people are depressed  TURN ON… intelligence, sincerity and a warm smile  HAT TOUCHES ME MOST… the sight of someone helping a complete stranger just because he wants to help someone in need.  FAVOURITE BEDROOM LINE… sweet dreams!  I LOVE TO WEAR…. a bright smile, because nothing is more pleasant to see and feel than the warmth of a bright smile.  IF I BECOME MISS INDIA I WILL... use the crown as my platform to influence people's minds, thoughts and actions through non-profit art.  Titles Won  Sunsilk Femina Miss India - World 2003 and  Sony My Miss India
