MIRPUR: Pakistan Vs West Indies World Cup quarter final match live from Dhaka: Energetic Pakistan packed the West Indies  for 112 and reached the target with out losing a wicket to confirm place in Semi finals.

West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first which was the first mistake they did in the knock out round. As batting second most teams won the games here in Dhaka stadium. Pakistan bowlers M Hafeez, Umar Gul started brilliantly and then S Ajmal and  skipper Afridi banged west indies with quick wickets.

Pakistan’s opening batsman and off-spin bowler, Mohammad Hafeez, played a crucial role in the Men in Green’s impounding victory over West Indies by 10 wickets in the Quarter-Final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 on Wednesday Mohammad Hafeez grabbed two wickets for just 16 runs and then further backed his performance with the ball with an unbeaten half century to clinch the Man of the Match award.

Skipper Shahid Afridi, who holds firm belief in abilities of Hafeez, called otherwise Professor, as he scooped the ball towards him after the first over. Hafeez never looked novice of bowling with the new balls as he trapped Devon Smith and Darren Bravo in the same over right in front of the wickets

Later, chasing 113 runs to win, he along with Kamran Akmal completed the target in just 20.5 overs and remained unbeaten at 61 runs from just 64 balls.
