Meera Chopra against size zero

August 28, 2008
Meera Chopra, heroine of films like Bangaram and Vaana, is the heroine in Jaganmohini, with Raja and Namitha also in the cast.

She is against the recent fad of size zero, which has descended on the Indian film industry to the great dismay of many heroines’ fans.

These fans preferred their heroines in better shape, like the statues at Ajantha and Ellora.

She says, “Every one should have some shape and muscle to appear beautiful. Though poets write that a girl should have a fragile and cute look, you look good only when you have some curves to display.

I eat all kinds of dishes. At the same time, I go for regular exercise with complete dedication and discipline. I feel a girl should maintain a good physique.”

Meera Chopra is also the heroine in a film to be directed by Chandra Siddhartha opposite Sharwanand.
