Ejaz Lakdawala's hit list
May 24, 2007
NEW DELHI: Underworld don Ejaz Lakdawala
has claimed that Bollywood bigwigs like singer Himesh Reshammiya, film
makers Feroze Nadiadwala and Rajkumar Santoshi were on his hit list as
they had refused to pay heed to his extortion calls.
"Those who won't pay will be killed," 40-year
old Lakdawala, who claims to have a network of 150 to 200 hitmen, told
a private news channel on Thursday.
A person purported to be Lakdawala rang
up the TV Channel to share his thoughts on the release of the film 'Shotout
at Lokhandwala' and during his telephonic conversation said that whosoever
did not pay any heed to his extortion calls would be killed and threatened
that his gang will strike very soon.
Lakdawala, one of the most wanted gangsters
from Mumbai, said an elaborate plot had been hatched to eliminate Reshammiya
when he was in the UK.
About Amitabh Bachchan, he said, "We respect
Amitabh Bachchan. He is never asked to pay. We will be ashamed of ourselves
if we try to extort money from him. He is a great human being."
