Prostitute : Bollywood actors in Nagpur
July 28, 2007.
The city police will closely coordinate with its Nagpur counterparts after a high profile prostitution racket, which includes some Bollywood actors, was busted in the Orange Town on Thursday.

The Mumbai police have debuted officers from the Oshiwara police station to assist a team of Nagpur (Rural) police. DCP (Zone-IX) Vinay Kumar Choubhe said, “All assistance will be given to the Nagpur (Rural) police. One of the girls had done five movies, while another girl had appeared in several advertisements and even done modelling for a Mumbai-based tabloid, he said.
Police received confidential information that a sex racket was operating through two websites, named www.hotpari.com and www.damesndesires.com. The sites were being allegedly operated by persons, identified as Nick alias Niraj and Rajiv, both residents of Lokhandwala in Mumbai, he said.

According to reports, the people who run the websites live in Lokhandwala, therefore the Oshiwara police will be asked to co-operate with them.”

The Nagpur police said on Friday that a trap was laid at a farmhouse in a village in Hingna, 30 km from Nagpur where the police arrested two professional models and an actress who were allegedly booked for Rs4 lakh to provide sexual favors to their client.

On the basis of the information, police got a dummy client to call up Nick and asked for girls, Mr Yadav said. During the conversation, Nick claimed he could provide 'high-class' actresses and models and even foreigners, including Russian and Swedish girls, for a high price, he said.

Nick agreed and sent the three girls to Nagpur, whom the dummy client received at the airport, he said adding the girls were supposed to charge Rs four lakhs for a night.

On receiving the girls at the airport, the dummy client took them to the designated farmhouse, where a trap had been laid and paid them Rs 75,000 as advance, the SP said. After receiving the money, the girls started to give sexual favors to the dummy client, he said.

At a signal from the dummy client, police raided the farmhouse and arrested the girls, Mr Yadav said.

Yashasvi Yadav, SP (Nagpur) police, said they had received a tip-off that two websites, run by one Nick alias Niraj and his associates Rajiv, residents of Lokhandwala, provided contact numbers of call girls, some of who were into films and modeling and they were put a decoy customer to strike a deal.
