7th February: Anil Kumble took 10 wickets in an innings of a test match, equalling the record set by J. Laker
     for maximum wickets in an innings. This is the first time such a feat has been achieved by an Indian bowler. Kumble
     reduced the Pakistan team's batting order to ashes as he took 10 wickets for 74 runs. India won the Historic test
     against Pakistan at Delhi by 212 runs.

     Rahul Dravid became only the 3rd Indian to score centuries in both innings of a Test match, when he scored
     190 & 103* in the 3rd Test against New Zealand. He also became the 25th Indian to score 2000 runs in Test cricket.
     The other 2 players who have scored centuries in both innings are Sunil Gavaskar & Vijay Hazare.

     Sachin Tendulkar has broken the record for the maximum centuries in International cricket (ODI + Test), ie, 36
     in total. He crossed Viv Richards (West Indies) and Sunil Gavaskar's record of 35 centuries in International cricket
     combined

     Indian fast bowler, Ajit Agarkar set a new record for taking the 50 fastest wickets in one-dayers. Agarkar
     acheived this feat in just 23 matches, topping an illustrious list including greats like Warne, Lillee, etc.

     Indian captain, M. Azharuddin has broken Desmond Haynes's record for Highest Runs in One-Day
     internationals, ie, he has crossed a landmark of 8,648 runs. He ahieved this by scroing 94 runs against Sri Lanka in the
     opener of the Champions Trophy on 6th November, 1998.

     Indian captain, M Azharuddin has set a New world record for Maximum Appearances in One-Day
     internationals, ie, 302 matches.

     Sachin Tendulkar scores his 18th one-day century breaking the previous World Record of 17 centuries set by
     Desmond Haynes.

     Highest Opening partnership in One-dayers- 252, by Tendulkar and Ganguly against Sri Lanka.

     Highest Partnership ever in one-dayers, ie, 275* set by Azhar and Jadeja against Zimbabwe.

     Anil Kumble became the 2nd Indian to take 200 wickets in ODIs and the 7th bowler ever to do so, when he
     bowled Gary Brent for duck.

     India defeated Australia by an Innings and 219 runs in the 2nd Test of the Gavaskar-Border Test Series. This is
     the biggest margin of Victory for India in Tests.

     India set a new World Record by chasing a target of 314 set by Pakistan at Dhaka in Jan. 1998, when it scored
     316/7. This is the Highest Score ever chased to win an ODI.
