SATURDAY, Jan 5,  - It now seems that taking part in the shooting for Yash Raj Films is a mere excuse, and the real reason is that ‘Om Shanti Om’ heroine Deepika Padukone is in Australia to cheer her "close friend" Yuvraj Singh, who is struggling along with his team mates to battle the mighty Aussies led by Ricky Ponting. 

According to the sources, Yuvi has sponsored her entire tour to Australia inclusive of air tickets and stay, as a token of love.
Deepika is also there to celebrate her birthday with Yuvi on January 5, the sources added.
The other reason why Deepika is in Australia is because she is soon set to begin shooting Yash Raj Films' next film there, to be directed by Siddharth Anand.
While the shooting will start next week, she has gone there in advance, needless to say, to spend some quality time with Yuvi.

If this sounds unbelievable, read this. Though the month-long shooting for the Yash Raj Flims’ next venture commences on Australian soil on from January 7, the actress left Mumbai two days in advance just to have Yuvraj by her side while celebrating her 22nd birthday on January 5! 

And now speculations are there that the two are contemplating to tie the knot in another two years’ time.

While Deepika and Yuvraj have been treated as an “item” by the media on numerous occasions, the couple has always maintained that they are nothing more than just 'good friends.' Incidentally the media had paired Deepika with the Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni. 

This time, sources revealed that Deepika is in Australia much in advance of her shooting schedule to cheer her "close friend" Yuvraj during the second Test being played at Sydney. 

Nevertheless, sources in Bollywood confirm that the two are definitely dating each other. And people close to both Deepika and Yuvraj revealed that the two are very close to each other and if things go well they might even tie the knot in another two years.

The two were first seen together after the last Test match of the India-Pakistan series played in India last month and again at Yuvraj’s birthday party at Enigma, J W Marriott, on December 12. 

A source from Yuvi’s friend circle stated, “Though they have never accepted it officially, they have not denied their relationship either. Yuvraj has openly declared to one of his friends on the networking site, Facebook that he is seeing Deepika and is very happy about it. In fact after his break-up with Kim Sharma (the last fight between the two lasted for a record 12 hours on a cruise party, say onlookers), he has been sort of lonely and has been heard saying that Deepika is very much like the girl whom he would like to build a long-term bond with.”
