Anisha Padukone is the younger sister of Deepika Padukone but she does not want to storm into Bollywood like her. Instead, the seventeen year old lass wants to become a golfer. Anisha Padukone is currently studying at XIIth class in Mount Carmel College. Anisha Padukone tried
her hands in cricket, hockey, tennis and badminton but it is golf that
attracted her most. She started playing golf at the age of 12.In the recently
held Ladies Golf Tournament in Chennai, Anisha Padukone was the center
of attention. Anisha Padukone wants to become a professional golfer and
she wants to do it on her own esteem. She said:
It was her father, India’s badminton legend, Prakash Padukone, who inspired her to become a golfer. Now, she is trained by Vijay Divecha, coach, Bangalore Golf Club. Though she is not interested in acting like her elder sister Deepika Padukone she wants to try her luck in modeling. So far, she participated in seven all India amateur tournaments and few national championships. Her future aim is to go to USA on a golf scholarship. 
August 27, 2008. Anisha Padukone, the younger sister of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, won the honours for the longest drive in the silver division in the first round of the Indian Golf Union categorised Madras Ladies Golf championship here Tuesday. Delhi schoolgirl Lavery Kumar topped in all four categories in the gold and junior divisions. Anisha drove the ball 210 yards at the 410-yard second hole, but finished down the list in both gross and nett categories. In the lead were Arya
M. Tikenekar (Pune-86), Premlatha (Chennai-87) and S. Lakshmi and Mita
Gowade (88 each) in the gross section, while Tikenekar and Lakshmi topped
the handicap division with 70 nett each, ahead of Premalatha Ramraj (72
nett).
