Love story 2050 premiered at a West London theatre on Wednesday. While actors Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani walked the red carpet with practiced ease, debutant Harman Baweja was slightly nervous.

“I’m was nervous, but now I am excited. I honestly didn’t expect such a positive response. Am totally taken over right now,” Harman said. 

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra was just enjoying herself and said that it was good to be in London again.

“It’s fantastic. So many people are here and they are so receptive. They have been waiting for a while, but it’s really really nice that they are here,” she said

Love Story 2050 which releases in cinemas world wide on July 4th is the first Bollywood movie to experiment with futuristic time travel.

With the red carpet being laid so close to home, keen cinemagoers queued up for hours in advance anxiously waiting for autographs and pictures.

About the Bear:
Zeisha (another character Priyanka plays) has a pet named Boo, a robotic teddy bear who helps her in all chores like cutting vegetables and fruits. 

About the Game:
Rocking Pixels (a 3D game developer based in Mumbai, India with offices in California, US, and Shanghai, China), in co-ordination with various undisclosed USA-based firms, is developing a game based on the film. While the concept of movie-based games isn’t new, its a first for a Bollywood film.

His debut futuristic movie, produced and directed by none other than his father Harry Baweja, had a global premiere in London (talk about being different!) and Londonites got their dose of Bollywood as Hrithik-lookalike Harman and his girlfriend Priyanka Chopra (no, she didn’t sport red hair for this one!) walked the red carpet. 

The father and son were both dressed in black suits; Boman Irani chose a smart white suit. Priyanka, on her part, preferred a gown to a sari; she looked stunning and looks like she’s shed a few extra kilos. Speaking excitedly on the occasion, Harry said that this was an extremely emotional day for the entire cast and crew, who have worked tirelessly over the past two years in making this film. 

He also addressed the media, talking about the challenges in making this big budget sci-fi flick, but ended with some words of wisdom: “When you set out to do something that has never been attempted before, you come across various challenges, which, while being obstacles also spur you to put your heart and soul into the project.”
