Indian actress Priyanka Chopra seeking a man, but not marriage
NEW DELHI -27.01.2007. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is looking for a confident, honest man, but says marriage will have to wait. 
"I'm looking for someone who'll make me proud. He should be confident, sincere and have a sense of humor,'' Chopra, 24, told the Hindustan Times Newspaper in an interview published Saturday. 
But marriage will have to wait. 
"I'm just 24. I'm in no hurry to settle down,'' she said. 
Chopra played the female lead in India's first superhero film "Krrish'' and had an action-packed role in "Don'' _ both movies were hits last year. She also stars in "Salaam-e-Ishq,'' or "Salute to Love,'' a romantic drama that opened Thursday, starring several Bollywood big names, including Salman Khan, John Abraham and Vidya Balan. 
Chopra, a former beauty queen, also said she supports a lot of philanthropic causes but prefers to keep her involvement understated.
"The issues relating to the girl child, AIDS, and thalassemia are very close to my heart,'' she said.

All hell broke loose when Priyanka and Nikhil arrived at Jaipur’s INOX multiplex. A frenzied crowd attempted to get a glimpse of them, as they walked into the multiplex to get on with the press confrence. Nikhil and Priyanka floored entire media with their witty and crisp answers and at the end of it people were asking for more!

After the press meet Nikhil and Priyanka went to Dargah Sharif, Ajmer, to offer their prayers. ‘Salaam-e-ishq’ is slated for release on 25th January 2007 all over. Apart from Priyanka & Salman it co-stars Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Sohail Khan, John Abraham, Juhi Chawla, Vidya Balan, Ayesha Takia, Isha Koppikar, Shanon Esra and Anjana Sukhani in the main lead.

Just a few months back we saw Priyanka showing a bit of Ju Jitsu and Karate skills in Farhan Akhtar’s movie Don . Now she has been training under an expert for Gatka, which is a specialized form of fighting from the Punjab belt of North India. 

A trainer from Ludhiana has reportedly been roped in to give training to Priyanka. The training includes both defensive and attacking moves. 

Priyanka has already shot for a few portions of her action scenes in the movie’s shooting schedule in Prague, Czech Republic. Despite freezing temperature there, Priyanka gave her action scenes with full gusto. And she seems quite impressed by the final results on the screen.

Priyanka Chopra to perform with Nelly Furtado on New Year’s Eve
While most of the actresses of Bollywood choose to be with their family and friends on the New Year’s eve, Priyanka Chopra and Koena Mitra will celebrate the evening with thousands of fans.Yes, the two Bollywood belles will perform to a number of songs on stage as the opening act for Nelly Furtado’s musical concert on December 31, at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. Nelly Furtado, as many would know, is a Grammy-winning pop sensation who shot to fame with the release of her debut album ‘Whoa Nelly’ in 2000. She won Grammy for her song “I’m Like A Bird” from the album. The song also happens to be the favourite of actress Priyanka Chopra who is pretty excited about stepping on the same stage with Nelly in a few days from now. The evening will see Koena Mitra dancing to five of her favourite songs, including the latest tracks from film Apna Sapna Money Money . Priyanka will perform to an equal number of songs, but she rues the fact that she won’t be able to rehearse much for the show because of her present Bollywood commitments. Nelly Furtado is expected to belt out some of her old hits and also the recent ones like ‘Promiscuous’ and ‘Maneater’ from her latest album ‘Loose’. The evening will also feature performances by Canada based Punjabi band Josh. A concert by A R Rahman will close the night with the coming of 2007.

Now she decided to learn Latin dances in the meantime.She said that ” Learning anything new will make to my assets as an actress and dances like salsa and jazz excite me. priyanka chopra is not in a hurry to sign any new projects and she is planning to take a break after her new film “Drona”. priyanka said that she is not finding any new good subject that can grab her attention immediately.

After the martial atrs training for Don, priyanka is now taking new tips in self-defence from her new film ‘Drona’. Next project she is going to sing for Nikhil Advani’s multi-starrer Salaam-e-lshq in which she is paired opposite Salman Khan. The new film is going to release early next year.
