The Versova police imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra for breaking society rules, after her neigbours complaint.

According to the police sources, the neighbouring residents of the actress had complained to the police about loud music being played at her residence in a party Thursday late night. 

Priyanka threw a party in the honour of his friend Gerard Butler at her residence where Bollywood bigwigs like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan were invited.

It is worth mentioning here that such complaints are becoming common. A similar complaint was made against Preity Zinta for playing loud music in her birthday bash

Priyanka Chopra is extra busy these days. She is hosting a farewell party for good friend Gerard Butler before he leaves India. 

Priyanka Chopra is having a party at her House for about 25-30 people at her residence on Election Day — April 30. The guestlist is still a work in progress. The party is in honour of Hollywood actor Gerald Butler, who is presently in the country. 

The actress first met the actor, last seen in the action flick 300, in Dubai, at a party hosted by Shahrukh Khan in his suite at Atlantis The Palm. Butler is in the country on a back-packing trip with four of his friends, and last week, he caught up with PC in Jaipur, where she was shooting for What's Your Raashee?.

Last week, the actor who is single was quoted in a Delhi paper saying, "I'd love to date an Indian girl." When asked about his friendship with Chopra, he said, "I would've dated her but she has a boyfriend." The 'boyfriend' Shahid Kapoor will also be present at Piggy Chops newly done-up residence Raj Classic in Versova. This will finally put an end to the rumours of any romance between the B-Town belle and the Hollywood hottie.

The actress has been calling her friends and inviting them to her party, which will include the who's who of Hollywood. Butler will also be visiting his friends Shahrukh Khan and Gauri, while in the city.

Butler has been in the country for a while, travelling around in his quest for peace. First, he went to Jaipur to give Priyanka company while she was shooting for What''s Your Rashee? Then he landed in Varanasi before heading for the Himalayas. After all the travelling, the Scottish actor will be spending time with Priyanka in Mumbai before leaving on May 2. The party will be at Priyanka's Versova home. The get-together might give Butler a chance to meet some of the Bollywood biggies. Priyanka’s guest list includes Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri, Hrithik Roshan and wife Suzanne, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya, Imran Khan and girlfriend Avantika and Karan Johar. And of course, there will be Shahid Kapur as well!
