The schedule for ‘Krrish’ was quite demanding we hear. Would you
say it was the most difficult shoot till date for you?
“No, not at all. It was not difficult and taxing even though we shot
in really cold locations. We went up high altitudes and there was snow.
But the crew was so much fun. We really got on well together and I was
really upset on the last day when we finished shooting because the film
had ended.” The Roshans have a record to keep up. Was the pressure evident
while shooting for ‘Krrish’?
“I don’t think so. I think the Roshans know exactly what they are doing.
The story of ‘Krrish’ is beautiful, and I think together they are dynamic
in what they come out with. They are two generations coming together, and
they know what both the generations want today, so they have their finger
on the pulse of the audience. It’s fantastic how they work together. I
love to watch them working together, not only on the sets but post work
when they’re discussing things. They are great together. I hope the film
proves this fact.” Hrithik is known as a perfectionist. How was it shooting
with him?
“On the contrary, Hrithik has inspired me to be a better actor. He has
inspired me to really take my work seriously and define my characters.
And actually be very serious, because it is a job. Also to take interest
in every aspect of filmmaking. I owe Hrithik a lot for that. He has inspired
me to take more interest in my performances.
How was it working with Rekha?
“It was wonderful working with Rekha ma’am. I just watched her when
she was performing and even when she was sitting and talking. She’s so
childlike off the set as well. She’s such a warm human being, so it was
a great pleasure being around her, since she is someone I admire a lot
