Mumbai: The Indian cricket
team is getting a rapturous send off as they head for the Caribbean and
among their fans are two of Bollywood's biggest stars.
With the cricket World Cup
just around the corner, cricket craze has reached a feverish pitch in the
country.
And cashing in on this craze
is the cola company that has more than half of the team and some of the
biggest names in Bollywood as its brand ambasadors.
At the unveiling of the
gold cup cola bottlethe Bollywood stars made a big song and dance about
their support for the Men in Blue.
So while Priyanka Chopra
lent her voice for the cause, Shahrukh Khan preferred to give some gyaan
to the masters of the game.
"One advise is that cricket
should be played with the heart," Shahrukh Khan said.
"World Cup in my house is
like a religion. Everything stops during the World Cup. Nothing is cooked
at home," Priyanka Chopra said.
And at the end of the programme
there was a musical ode to the Indian cricket team.
