Priyanka has agreed to give an undisclosed amount to Jaju
Mumbai: 26.Sep.07. The feud between Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, called Piggy Chops by friends, and her former secretary Prakash Jaju has ended. The man who sorted out the mess is popular producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid spoke to both, organised a meeting between the two sides and helped both to bury the hatchet.

Priyanka has agreed to give an undisclosed amount to Jaju and both the sides have agreed to withdraw all the cases, civil and criminal, against each other. The dispute was over the commission Priyanka was supposed to pay to her (ex)secretary. The warring sides filed police cases against each other and also hurled allegations and counter allegations.

"We have amicably settled the dispute in the presence of noted film maker Sajid Nadiadwala," Jaju said on Tuesday over phone from Mumbai.

The settlement was brokered by Nadiadwala in the presence of Jaju and Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra.

Differences cropped up between us because of a chartered accountant, but all issues were now settled amicably, in view of Priyanka's father suffering from serious ailments, he said.

Jaju had filed a case against the actress claiming that she owed him over Rs one crore as fee, but he, however, did not disclose the amount he received after the settlement between them.

He had also complained that he had received threat from underworld don Chhota Shakeel on behalf of Priyanka and her father.

As a part of the settlement, Jaju will withdraw all cases against Chopras.

Earlier, Jaju, a resident of Mhow, had filed cases against them in court in Indore and Mhow.

A local court in Indore had issued an arrest warrant against Ashok Chopra on August 20, which was stayed by court on September 14. He was granted bail on September 21.
