Priyanka Chopra - Knocking
doors at the top
While it is a known fact
that the battle of supremacy for the top 3 actresses is fiercely between
Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Aishwarya, an actress that is just waiting
in the wings round the corner is Priyanka Chopra.
Though 'Krrish' is undoubtedly
a Roshan film, even Priyanka has all the reasons to enjoy the fruits of
the film's super-success. While her 'Aap Ki Khatir' may not be the next
blockbuster in the making, by the look of things she should be the best
part of the film due to various traits of the character she plays. Her
best bet in the coming months is 'Don - the Chase Begins Again' that seems
to have a HIT written all over it and can be yet another entry into her
list of successes.
Early next year arrives 'Salaam-E-Ishq:
A Tribute To Love' and if reports from insiders are to be believed, it
is going to be THE big film of 2007! Apart from these, Priyanka has two
confirmed biggies in her kitty - 'London Dreams' [directed by Raj Kumar
Santoshi] and 'Love Story 2050' [a multi crore futuristic film directed
by Harry Baweja]. And for those who want to see her doing something different,
there is 'Chamki Chameli' that would be directed by Shyam Benegal.
With a mix of such films,
she should soon be knocking the doors for a top spot!
