Samadhi Mandir
Samadhi Mandir
Samadhi Mandir of Shri Sai Baba was actually owned
by a millionaire from Nagpur, a famous Sai devotee Shreemant
Gopalrao. Gopalrao wanted to keep an idol of Murlidhar here.
However, Baba himself became Murlidhar and the Mandir
became the Samadhi Mandir of Baba.

The Mandir is built with stones and Baba's Samadhi is
built with white marble stones. A railing is built in marble around the
Samadhi and is full of ornamental decorations. In front of the
Samadhi are two silver pillars full of decorative designs.
Just behind the Samadhi is Sai Baba's marvelous statue made
of Italian marble which shows him seated on a throne.
This idol was made by late Balaji Vasant..

We had heard about kakkar aarti performed early in the morning. So we started from the town at around 2:30 am so as not to miss it. Having reached the temple, it was interesting to watch the mad rush to make it to the aarti. This early morning aarti involves the invocation of Shri Sai Baba followed by his ablution and wrapping of clothes. It starts at around 4:30 am and lasts for about 45 minutes. You make your way through the serpentine queues for the main hall where it is held.
It's a delight to watch people — old and young — hurry along those narrow isles to be part of the congregation. And when the aarti starts, you feel as if you have just experienced one of the most beautiful things in your life
Samadhi Mandir
. The capacity of the hall is close to 2,000 people and the flock left out, have to content with viewing the aarti on CCTVs 'coming live'. Despite few aartis being recited in Marathi, doing it in unison made the experience really memorable.
