The actor has apparently decided to have a rather low-key birthday bash along with his family and close friends. If tabloid reports are to be believed, invites were sent to producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director David Dhawan , actor Ranbir Kapoor , Ravi Chopra and Boney Kapoor .
The trusted cook of the Khans will dish out several mouth-watering delicacies and special arrangements have been made for barbeque in the lawns of the farmhouse.

Salman has reportedly asked his friends not to bring any birthday gifts for him. On the contrary, he might give out gifts to his guests.
Salman also made sure that all his guests were comfortable and played the gracious host. The get together also had some scrumptious delicacies, like the favourite Khan biryani, Nalli Nihari, kebabs etc. Salman will also be chilling out at his Panvel farmhouse for the week and will probably bring in the New Year over there with his family and close friends. There are a number of recreational activities like swimming, table tennis, soccer etc that will keep the guests entertained at the farmhouse. Salman will also be taking a break from work and will not be shooting for any of his films for a few days till 2nd January. 

Apart from some days spent behind bars in jail, this year has been pretty good for Salman with his comedy film Partner doing extremely well at the box-office. His first film this year, Salaam-e-Ishq and his Marigold – An Adventure in India , however, were duds.

Year 2008 will begin on a promising note for Salman with the unveiling of his wax statue at London’s Madame Tussauds Museum in January.
