Born on August 4, 1967, Mumbai, Arbaaz Khan is the son of the legendary scriptwriter Salim Khan and brother to Salman and Sohail Khan. His debut in ‘Daraar’ (1996) was full of conviction and appreciated by one and all. His negative role of a sick wife beater won him the Filmfare award for the Best Performance in a Negative Role. Standing tall at 5’10, Arbaaz is well built, sharp and crisp no non sense performer in the making. He has not met with a lot of commercial success even though he has starred in some successful flicks like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998) and Garv: Pride and Honour (2004) acting opposite his brother Salman. His role as a villain in the film Qayamat: City under Threat (2003) has met with success at the Box office and he has also played crucial supporting roles in the hit comedy films Hulchul (2004), Malamaal Weekly (2006) and Bhagam Bhag (2006). He has been very prolific in playing qualitative supporting roles in the likes of ‘Shootout at
Lokhandwala’ and ‘Fool and Final’.
Happily married to Malaika Arora, they have been blessed with a son Arhaan in 2003.
