Saibaba Temple trustee
to file defamation case against miscreants
Mumbai, June 7: A trustee
of Saibaba Temple at Shirdi K C Pandey today said he will file a defamation
case against some local miscreants who are maligning his name by spreading
rumours against him.
Talking to reporters here,
Mr Pandy, a former Navy personnel and in-charge of security at the Temple,
said ''On May 29, the security of Sai Baba temple in Shirdi found 5 live
bullets in the donation box and since he is in-charge of security at the
temple he went to the spot. On arrival, he saw some people were giving
interviews to the electronic media and accused him of being a traitor,
who sold army secrets to enemies and a member of the Pak-based Inter Services
Intelligence (ISI).'' ''Some local miscreants are trying to malign his
name by spreading rumours against him,'' he reiterated.
''There cannot be any bigger
insult to a soldier, other than he being called a traitor,'' Mr Pandey
said.
''I will approach the court
for justice and file a defamation case against Kailash Kote and Abhay Shelke,
who have tried to defame him through media interviews,'' he added.
