| Indore-Khajuraho bus
service starts
Indore, Jan 11: For the
first time, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has started
a luxury bus service between Indore and Khajuraho, thereby fulfilling the
long-cherished dream of the people of this region who wanted to spend their
holidays in the temple town of Khajuraho.
The MPTDC general manager,
Balmukund Namdev, flagged the luxury bus service of MPTDC off here on Friday.
This bus has been prepared at the cost of Rs 30 lakh by Baghirath Body
builder of Indore. The interior of the bus from inside looks like an aeroplane.
The seats inside the bus are also cozy and will given the passengers an
experience of comfortable journey. A 32 inches LCD screen has also been
installed inside the bus.
The Corporation sources
here informed that for the first time in the country a mobile guide service
has been started by the MPTDG wherein any person by calling mobile number
99993330003 will get information about places of tourist importance in
Bhopal as well as its history. The Corporation in the cities of Indore,
Jabalpur and Gwalior will soon start a similar mobile guide service respectively.
By dialing given number on this service, the tourists concerned will be
provided all the relevant informations about tourists places of the cities
concerned on his mobile just like a trained guide, the Corporation sources
informed this newspaper
