Happiest Moment: August 12th 2008, When I legally won over the above-mentioned case with glorious victory, which the complainant itself hostiled for the fear of getting behing bars if I contest the case for the accusations given against mein court in public,where he admitted all his complaints against me was false & were meant only to defame me.

A pat on the back from Vijaya T Rajendher (no hand touch there) and the warm assurance to cast her in lead role the next time was the silver lining for Padma Narayanan. Blessed with looks meriting a detailed profile, her striking resemblance to actress Nagma meant hogging much of the attention during the shoot. 

The model-turned actress did not aspire for the moon in a role falling in the lines of a concubine. 'I only saw the positive shades when TR sir explained the impact of the character. It would have been better but for the overuse of the scissors. Good learning lessons there on all counts,' she says of her character in Veerasami. 

Happy in the chosen world of modelling was Padma when the turnaround came. On an audition test in Mumbai, the ones in the know of showbiz convinced her that she had it in her to hit it big in movies. Still, providence had a say when it all happened. 

Luckily for Padma, she was able to shift gears after bagging teasing offerings in lead roles. In good banners and happening names, the battery is already charged. Taking into account the TR promise, Padma's stock has taken an early swing.
