Superstar Amitabh Bachchan never misses an opportunity to interact with his fans through his blogs. Apart from films, Big B shares with them current happenings. He finds blogging the best way to spread his message across the globe. This time around also he used blog to speak out his feeling about the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team who arrived in Lahore to play matches. On learning about the firing on the players, he is horrified. 

“And while we work we heard the news of the terror attack on the Sri Lankan Cricket Team in Lahore as they were going to the Stadium to play their match against Pakistan. Horrid!!,” wrote Amitabh on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

As the world is overcast by terror and terrorism, Amitabh feels disturbed. He wrote, “We all live in an uncertain and strange world. We all live in suspicion and doubt. We live without trust and belief. We also live in strength and defiance. In resolve and in peace and we all desire that the rest of the world believes in that too.. Faith and trust begets faith and trust. I would like to believe that. But in today’s times and conditions does it really present itself in belief. I have doubts.”

Batsman Thilan Samaraweera, Tharanga Paranavithana, Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Ajantha Mendis, Thilina Thushara and Suranga Lokumal were injured during the attack. Paul Farbrace, Assistant Coach of the Sri Lankan Cricket Team, was also injured. Five police personals were reported to be killed.
