26 Oct 2009.It's rare that Amitabh Bachchan lashes out at those targeting him. But now, Big B has expressed his pain after false charges of fraud were levelled against him by Mayawati's government. While BSP sources have rejected Big B's writings on his blog, what is essentially a political war between chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati and general secretary of Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh, has caught Big B in the crossfire. 

The Uttar Pradesh police would start investigating into complaint registered against general secretary of the Samajwadi party and also Bachchan in the case related to the land scam. 

Sources in the BSP say the Uttar Pradesh government was not behind the fraud allegations made against Amitabh Bachchan and general secretary of Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh. 

BSP sources were replying to questions raised by Amitabh Bachchan on his blog. 

A very emotional Amitabh Bachchan has said he's been hurt by the false allegations of fraud against him. Bachchan has written a comprehensive blog on why he was dragged into controversy by the government of Mayawati. 

Big B's blog has sought answers to more than 20 questions from Mayawati. 

Amitabh Bachchan has asked why such a serious case was registered in an unknown police station in Kanpur. But, sources in the Mayawati government have replied saying it cannot decide where a complainant will file an FIR because under the Indian Penal code a person is free to file an FIR at any police station across the country. 

The Big B's blog has accused the Mayawati government of transferring the SHO of Babupurwa polices station in Kanpur all because the SHO did not find merit in the complaint to register the case. 

The UP government has refuted Bachchan's allegation saying the SHO's transfer was a routine job. 

Amitabah Bachchan had asked why the complainant Mr Tripathi was given police protection immediately after filing of the FIR. 

To this, sources in the BSP say that Mr Tripahti has had police protection for many years. In fact, they say he got police protection during Mulayam Singh's government. 

The Big B says the Mayawati government was facing a very embarrassing situation because it found nothing to support the charges made in the FIR and that's why they transferred the case to Kolkata. 

Mayawati's government has replied that the case was transferred to Kolkata as most of the companies under question are registered there. 

But Big B goes further asking the UP government that even the Kolkata Police found nothing in the fraud charges made against him. 

To this the UP government has said that first of all it was not behind the case and was only acting on a complaint.
