Arjun Tendulkar, born
24 September 1999, studying in Dhirubhai Ambani International School, who
recently made his debut in U-13 Cadet Trophy had put on the Indian jersey
and was seen boosting his dad’s morale up along with the crowd. TV cameras
captured the moment perfectly well and screened it round the stadium which
managed to even get Sachin to smile despite of all the high tension drama
enfolding on the field!
Tendulkar said, "I was
inspired by Indian team`s victory in 1983 World Cup. The 2011 victory has
made a huge impact on my son Arjun... I will not pressurise him to become
a cricketer. He can choose what he wants to do."
Sara Tendulkar and Arjun
Tendulkar, the rising star kids of Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar
have showcased their affection and immense pride in their father’s achievements
in the international cricketing world. As a matter of fact, it has been
witnessed at numerous times in public how much the kids dote on their father
Sachin.
He had a ball, literally
and one could tell that he had a good time as he walked towards the pavilion
end of the ground, probably to catch up with his dad, who had just finished
his practice stint.
Whether it is the various
cricket matches being attended by son Arjun Tendulkar [ who recently made
his cricketing debut in January 2010] or it is the social welfare events
organized by daughter Sara Tendulkar [ she decided to spend her birthday
with slum kids]. There are various such instances where one can see the
kids alighted with their father’s presence
Arjun Tendulkar, the son
of Sachin Tendulkar, practiced at the Lord's cricket ground along with
Indian cricketers ahead of the first of four Tests between India and England.
The 12-year-old was confident
as he bowled to middle-order batsman Suresh Raina during a net-practice
session in the presence of his father.
Media reports suggest
that the little maestro would accompany his father during most of the sessions
of the Lord's Test.
Sachin Tendulkar needs
just one more century for his 100th international hundred. He has 51 tons
in Test cricket 48 in one-day internationals. He has never made a ton at
Lord's.
