MS Dhoni
Under attack for his
team’s miserable performance in the T20 World Cup, MS Dhoni has found a
supporter in superstar Amitabh Bachchan who has expressed shock at the
‘unjust’ criticism coming the skipper’s way after India crashed out of
the tournament. “I am appalled at the way M S Dhoni has been under fire.
A week ago he was the apple of your eye.And within seconds, in a show smacking
of frivolity, you have made him into the creator of all that ails Indian
Cricket.This is most unjust and unfair,” Big B wrote on his blog hitting
out at the media.
Amitji has asked the Indian
captain to take it in his stride, and not get disillusioned by such criticism.
The twitter by Big B calls it “unjust Criticism”, and clearly, gives his
unconditional support for the boys, who were not able to deliver it bang
on, in the series.
However, he does lament
on the fact that these very boys who were the subject of such mean words,
had been the apple of everyone’s eyes, just a few months ago. Big B is
indeed very upset that one unsuccessful tournament has made the Indian
cricketers into punch bags that every one wants to squash out.

ends with the encouraging message”Come on Dhoni!! You can do it. I have
faith in you and your wonderful band of brothers in the team. Regroup,
regain and win,”
