The ‘Bollywood Sambha’ is no more among us. The legendry person Mac Mohan took his terminal respite on weekday at infirmary where he was conflict with cancer. Chetan Anand’s Haqeeqat was his entry flick and then he did digit after the another flick making a amount of 200 films in his career.  The frail, bearded villain of many a Hindi movie bid adieu to this world on Monday at the age of 71, leaving behind many saddened colleagues in the industry, one of them being Amitabh Bachchan. Mac Mohan was a regular in many of the movies starring Big B.

The septuagenarian veteran was reportedly suffering from lung cancer. In his heydays, he worked with Big B in many films like Zanjeer, Don, Shaan and Satte Pe Satta.

“I worked with him in several films, films that can be identified as being some of the most memorable in my repertoire. Some of the roles he did were evil in nature, quite the opposite of his own personal demeanour. His laughter was full throated and free - a symbol of the free spirit he always depicted,” Big B wrote.

The megastar however admitted that Mac Mohan’s role as Gabbar Singh’s sidekick Sambha in Sholay was the most memorable.
