SRK breaks
the ice for Vivek and Ash
Shah Rukh Khan broke
the ice between Vivek Oberoi, Abishek and ex- Aishwarya Rai at the party
held at his place for birthday boy Hrithik Roshan. Shah Rukh Khan, the
super star of bollywood who is also fondly addressed as King Khan, showed
his clout when he successfully ensured that Abhishek Bachchan (Aishwarya
Rai’s husband) and Vivek Oberoi (Aishwarya Rai’s ex-boyfriend) enjoy the
party at his residence Mannat without any untoward incident.

It’s a known fact about
how hard Vivek is trying to mend ties with Salman Khan, ex-Asihwarya Rai
and several other of the B-town folk. Vivek was literally ostracised from
the industry after he held a press conference stating that Salman had harassed
him in early 2003. Oberoi tried hard to mend ways with Salman thereafter
but the moody Khan wouldn’t budge, ignoring and avoiding him whenever possible.
After joining Shah Rukh
Khan camp (recently Vivek called Shah Rukh his godfather in industry),
this is first big victory for Vivek Oberoi, who had always been shunned
by Jaya Bachchan( remember her ‘Man on a mission’ remark about Vivek on
Karan Johar’s show), Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan due to his past
with Ash and Salman Khan.
However in this melee
Vivek was most miffed with Aishwarya who quietly retreated into the background
and refused to side or comment on the issues surrounding her. The news
of Ash and Abhishek tying the knot soon followed. Recently Vivek was on
an Ash-bashing spree on Farah Khan’s show Tere Mere Beach Mein. Sources
say that Aishwarya was terribly disturbed and broke down on sets stating
that she had had enough of people bringing her down now and again. Abhishek
too was furious with Vivek’s comments and refused to have any communication
with the actor thereon. |
The most noticeable factor
is that the Bachchan family and Shahrukh Khan have start bonding. This
is clearly visible on almost every function as they have been seen together.
For the past few years there was a cold war, between the Bachchan and SRK,
even though they never brought up their fight in open.
| According to our Sources,
some Bollywood stars were shocked to see SRK arrive to Hrithik Roshan 36th
birthday bash in Abhishek Bachchan's car accompanied by Aishwarya Rai.
It was reported that they left together and headed for SRK's home, where
the party continued. Our sources further state, Abhishek shocked the guests
when he asked Gauri Khan to dance with him.
Further more Arjun Rampal,
who was high, had a little far too much to drink. Apparently he got quite
generous as he removed money from his pocket and started handing it out
to beggars on the street. On the other hand, it is said that a drunk Sohail
Khan went around the road asking people for money. Finally Dino Moreo came
to his rescue and sent him in an auto Rickshaw.
Well all we can say is,
maybe a drink too far can be a good thing, but not in Sohail's Case!
This being the very reason
behind Vivek and Aishwarya’s uneasiness at Shah Rukh’s party for birthday
boy Hrithik Roshan at his Mannat home on Thursday. Shah Rukh had personally
invited Abhishek and Ash along with Vivek whom Hrithik shares a great relationship
with. A source at the party reveals, “There was an air of tension between
Ash, Abhishek and Vivek who were present at two different poles of the
house. They were trying hard not to look at each other’s direction and
Shah Rukh who was playing the perfect host noticed it. He immediately came
towards them and began cracking jokes to ease the tension. He was at his
joyful best and it helped the three of them open up at the party.” |

considering the fact he’s been on an SRK praising spree since the past
few days! You like, Salman?
