of Michael Jackson's Funeral
In an interview with The Mirror, Michael Jackson's brother, Marlon, revealed some of the secrets of is upcoming funeral which will be taking place on Thursday. Michael's three children have each writen notes which will be placed inside his gold coffin. Prince Michael, 12; Paris, 11; and Blanket, 7 have each written "Daddy we love you, we miss you" on notes that will be placed inside his coffin alongside his signature white glove. Michael has also been fitted with a special wig to give him long, flowing locks, and a make-up artist has been employed to paint his face to be sure he looks fit to take the stage. Following an emotional sunset funeral, Jackson's coffin will immediately be encased in deep concrete to deter grave robbers and others with bad intentions. In addition, CCTV cameras linked to sensors will activate an alarm to warn security guards of any trespassers at the grave site. The 45-minute service will be held away from cameras, and limited to close friends and family only. Aretha Franklin will sing at the graveside. Michael's close friend Diana Ross will also be there, as will Motown record label founder Berry Gordy. Jackson will be buried in Holly Terrace Grand Mausoleum at Glendate Forest Lawn Memorial Park, which is located five miles from Hollywood in North Los Angeles. He will be alongside stars including Clark Gable and Humphrey Bogart. This cemetary is closed to the public and is surrounded by high walls. All visitos are required to show photo ID. A small wake will be held following the funeral at the Jackson family compound in Encino.
