Anushka Sharma Detained

Mumbai, June 27 (ANI): Anushka Sharma let off after over nine hours of questioning.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is being questioned at the Mumbai Airport for not declaring goods in her luggage that may have qualified for duty.

Sources say that while Anushka had listed the items while leaving India, she failed to enumerate them on her return from Toronto, Canada, where she had gone to attend the IIFA awards ceremony. More details are awaited. 

Anushka's manager claimed that the Band Baaja Baraat actress was held up by the customs officials to complete formal paperwork required for her borrowed accessories.

Just last month, Bipasha Basu  was detained at the Mumbai International Airport briefly for carrying unaccounted cash and jewellery
Another Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba was also detained at the airport on May 18 on her arrival from Cannes, France, for not declaring gold and diamond jewellery worth over Rs 30 lakh. (ANI)
