Season 4 Salman Khan all |
My eviction was scripted:
Rahul Bhatt
All controversies are pre-planned in Bigg Boss 4, claims Rahul Bhatt: Rahut Bhatt, an ex-housemate of the Bigg Boss house states that in order to boost ratings, the reality show has pre-planned and scripted all the fights, controversies and romances. "I was providing no entertainment factor, no romance angle or any controversy, why would they keep me on the show? My eviction was justified," Rahul said over the phone from Mumbai. The 28-year-old son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who came into news for being friends with David Coleman Headley - an accused in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks, said he was "pleasantly surprised" when the show host Salman Khan announced his name Friday as the one leaving the house. "I thought I would stay a couple of weeks longer. But when somebody like Seema Parihar has been saved after being nominated thrice and Sara Khan re-entered after being taken out, I realised that it is all being scripted and manufactured to generate TRPs. The evictions are not happening through public voting," said Rahul. However, Rahul says he is glad to have come out from the "fake" world of Bigg Boss into the "real" world, adding that the romantic link-up between contestants Veena Malik and Hrishant Goswami and the upcoming marriage of Sara Khan with Ali Merchant are all publicity gimmicks. He also said that his objective behind entering the Colors show has been fulfilled. "I wanted people to know me as Rahul not as Mahesh Bhatt's son or anything else. People have now seen the real me and I am satisfied. Also I have learnt a few household chores like washing clothes and my mother is happy," he said. "There are a lot of moronic things you need to deal with in the house like dressing up like a dog and doing weird tasks, but that is part of the show. The good thing is I have overcome my self-consciousness," Rahul added. Now that he is out of the show, the self-confessed fitness freak wants to concentrate on his career and is open to movie roles which fit him. "I am an action kind of guy. I want to play characters like that of a cop or a patriotic person, which I can convincingly portray. Unfortunately there is a bankruptcy of scripts in the industry right now," said Rahul. He was recently voted out from the show because of his inability to provide any entertainment. He told “I could have stayed longer, but the decision was with the public.” |
