University Admission 2010 - 2011
Delhi University is one
of the largest central Universities in India. It has around 83 colleges
under it and more than 154 courses are available at the undergraduate level.
For admission to the most of the undergraduate courses, barring the professional
courses like Medical and Engineering, Delhi University Colleges bring out
cut-off lists primarily to make the admission procedure less cumbersome.
Depending on the availability of the seats some colleges may have to bring
out three to four cut-off lists, while some colleges need not do so.
The Delhi University Cut-off
lists for undergraduate courses are eagerly awaited as it provides the
direction to the students for taking the path to the right college. The
wait for the 1st Cut-off list of D.U. for the year 2008 has finally ended.
Subsequently, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cut-off list of Delhi University colleges
will also come-up.
Most of the undergraduate
programs at University of Delhi are offered by the individual colleges.
For those courses where the selection is based on the marks secured in
the qualifying (10+2) examination, you can apply with a Common Pre-Admission
Form. These forms are available at seventeen Admission Information Centers.
The forms can also be submitted at any of the admission centers. Courses
for which the selection is based on an Entrance examination, you will need
to contact the respective colleges for the application procedure and the
entrance examination dates.
