A source revealed, “Very recently a handicapped lady sent a letter to Salman Khan’s address wanting help. She didn’t want money but a laptop so that she could use it for doing her work and earn a livelihood. So touched was Salman by her genuine plea that he personally picked up the best quality laptop from the market for her got it delivered to her. The lady since then can’t stop saying thanks to Salman. Salman meanwhile choses to stay quiet about his good Samaritan act..

Apr 23, 2009: Salman Khan will cheer for Preity Zinta's Kings XI Punjab in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL currently on in South Africa.

Salman was approached by good friend and actress Preity Zinta, one of the co-promoters of the Punjab team.

Punjab has already lost two matches and are at the bottom of the points table.

However, sources said, Salman agreed to cheer for Preity's team to settle spat with Shah Rukh Khan, who is owner of Kolkata Knight Riders.
