Angela Jonsson born in Chennai to an Icelandic father and Mangalorean mother, came into prominence when she was linked to Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor. When media persons tried to confirm the news from the model herself, she declined to speak about it.

Asked about the status of her relationship with Ranbir, she said: “I don’t want to talk about my personal life. I choose not to comment on this.”

However, Angela was forthcoming when quizzed about her Bollywood aspirations.

“I do look forward to a career in Bollywood. There are talks, lets see what happens. Will announce when anything is confirmed,” she said.
Growing up: I come from a big family of 10 – seven girls and three boys – so there was never a quiet moment in our house.

First shoots: My first few shoots in Bengaluru were commercial and therefore pretty easy. When it came to the Kingfisher Hunt and the tasks we performed there, it got tougher.

Facing the camera: The first few times I did feel kind of awkward and wasn’t quite sure what to do with myself. Now, I’ve begun to warm up to the camera and have really started to love it.

Modelling idols: Kate Moss and Catherine McNeil. 

Eat and work out or starve and laze? Neither. I’m lucky to be able to eat whatever I want without the worry of losing my figure.

Three staples in your wardrobe: LBD, a great pair of jeans, summer dresses. You wouldn’t be caught dead wearing: Tacky slogan T-shirts and Crocs. Sexy or sensuous? I’m not an over-the-top person and believe that less is more. I’d say more sensuous then sexy.

She is yet to enter Bollywood, but Kingfisher calendar girl Angela Johnson is already grabbing headlines, whether it is about doing a film with Salman Khan or reports of her dating Ranbir Kapoor. As of now, she has denied the rumours.

"There is no movie in the pipeline with Salman Khan, but I would love to work with him in the future. And as soon as I will sign any film you guys will know," Angela, who plans to make a career in Bollywood, told reporters at the Blender's Pride Fashion Tour in New Delhi.

Rumours were abuzz that actor-producer Sohail Khan was keen to launch Angela in his home production 'Sher Khan'.

Angela first came into the limelight with her alleged romance with Ranbir. Asked about her relationship status, she said: "I don't want to comment on Ranbir because whatever is being said is just a rumour.

Even Siddhartha Mallya, owner of Kingfisher Airlines, who is now dating Ranbir’s ex Deepika Padukone, had once said about this 20-year-old girl, “She is a stunningly good-looking girl. She is a very sweet person and she radiates all that Kingfisher stands for.” Infact she looks very beautifull even with very light make-up like very light, just lipgloss.

Angela Jonsson is learning Indian and Western dance forms to fullfill her dreams in Bollywood. She is also improving on her Hindi. In fact, she is all set to enroll for a formal acting course.

Though, how Ranbir met Angela still remains a mystery, their growing friendship is definitely the talk of B-Town. “A few days ago, they were together at Anushka Sharma’s birthday party, which was attended by a few select people. Sometime ago, they were also seen at the lounge bar Prive in Colaba,” revealed the source.

The 5’8" and 48 kilo Angela, born to Mangalorean mother and Icelandic father, aspires to make it big in Bollywood. For now, however, she has simply bought an apartment in Bandra not too far from Ranbir’s Pali Hill bungalow, Krishna Raj.

Apart from going out with Ranbir every other day or rather night, the girl is learning Indian and Western dance forms. She is also improving on her Hindi. In fact, she is all set to enroll for a formal acting course.
