Dean, Foreign Students’ Advisor, University of Delhi: Dr. Tanuja Agrawal, (91-11-2766-6756). For the 2009 admissions the last date for the receipt of applications forms, in College, complete in all respects, is June 15 by 1:00 pm for the First Year class and July 16 (tentatively) for the M.A./M.Sc. (Previous) class. It is expected that this date will remain the same with a variation of a day or so. Those candidates, who cannot produce the final results of the qualifying examination at the time of interview, may submit there 'predicted grades'. College reserves the right to accept or reject them. For admission to the MA/M.Sc courses, only those candidates are considered for admission who have been cleared by the relevant Department of the Delhi University. Hence they are required to apply to the University as well apart from applying to College. The following subjects are NOT taught in College: Commerce, Sociology, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Business Studies, Psychology Admission is granted on the basis of academic record and an interview. Only those candidates are called for an interview whose percentage of marks at the qualifying examination (plus 2 of CBSC or ISC or equivalent) is above a certain cut-off. This cut-off varies from year to year. The cut-off percentages for being invited for the interview are normally put up on the College Notice Board within three days of the last date for the receipt of the application forms. The list of candidates invited for interview is put up soon after. No postal/separate intimation is sent. Interviews for admission to various undergraduate courses begin immediately after according to a schedule notified in the Prospectus. The list of selected candidates is put up the day after the interviews for that course are concluded. Fees etc are to be deposited within two days failing which the seat is given to the next person on the waiting list. The number of seats in Residence are extremely limited. Hence out-station candidates are advised to make sure that they have alternate living arrangements in Delhi. There is no entrance exam for any of the courses offered by the College. Sports and academic categories
are separate. A candidate who desires to apply under both the categories
must fill a separate form for each category.
