The song Saans, picturised on actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will be launched in Mumbai, in the presence of both the actors, even though one of them is on foreign shores. A source tells us, “Though Shah Rukh was available for the event Katrina was not. Her dates are clashing with the event. She will be in Chicago shooting for her next flick Dhoom 3.” And because Chopra insisted on having both the stars around, everybody was in a fix. After much deliberation and sorting of dates, they came up with a unique concept to include both the actors in the music event. Katrina Kaif has teamed up with Yash Chopra for Jab Tak Hain Jaan and says that the veteran filmmaker should drop the idea of retirement as he still has the zeal to make amazing cinema.  "I don't think he should retire. He has an amazing sense of emotion and passion for cinema. I think it will be sad. He is a legend and I don't think anyone can match him up," she said at the launch of song Saans from the film here Tuesday.  On his 80th birthday, Chopra had announced that Jab Tak Hain Jaan will be his last film as director.  Talking about her experience with Chopra, Katrina said she was shooting a difficult scene and everyone was trying to explain how to do it, but the filmmaker started cracking jokes to lighten the mood.

The film, releasing Nov 13, has fulfilled Katrina's dream to work with King Khan. 

"I have always wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan. We would meet at award functions and talk about it, but I never thought that we will do a film together. It was definitely my dream to work with him and I am very happy that we did," she said. 

After the stupendous success of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Katrina and Salman became the most sought after Bollywood couple. Their on-screen chemistry got huge applause and now audience wants to see the duo together again. Sallu too wants to recreate the magic of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and approached Katrina.

When Sonakshi walked out of the project, Vidya Balan was approached but Vidya after back to back hit wants to work in challenging projects only and hence she refused. Katrina who was busy with her hectic schedule is zeroing on the project. She shares a great rapport with Salman and his family and she can’t say no to him. 

“Salman and Katrina are presently busy with their back-to-back commitments. But after Kick and Sher Khan, Salman plans to do a film with Katrina,” a source is quoted as saying. 

It is not yet sure whether Kat has given her nod for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ but if not ‘Kick’, the two might come together for another romantic flick.

It might come as a shock to die-hard fans of Salman Khan! But the truth is that Katrina Kaif has stated in her recent interview that she will have no problems working with Salman provided one condition is fulfilled! Katrina, who is aware of the impact that her last movie “Ek Tha Tiger” left on the viewers’ minds, is now busy putting forth her demands to makers who are keen on casting her and Salman together.

“If we’re a successful pair, why won’t people want to cast us?” Katrina has said in her recent interview. “But we won’t work together unless something is a step above "Ek Tha Tiger",” she added. Going by how Salman had reportedly set conditions on attending "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa" recetnly (he had ask the showmakers to not play songs of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan), Katrina couldhave learnt this lesson from ex-flame. .
