Salman who paired his tank top with distressed jeans, studded belt and black dress shoes, drove to the party with Zarine sitting in the back seat. 

Aamir and wife Kiran Rao hosted the party to honor Argentine Music director Gustavo Santaolalla at Imran Khan's mother, Nuzhat Khan's residence in Pali Hill, Mumbai. 

Bollywood star Aamir Khan is hosting a star-studded party Saturday night for Argentinian musician Gustavo Santaolalla, who is composing music for his wife Kiran Rao's directorial debut Dhobi Ghat. 

Gustavo, who has won two Oscar awards and 13 Grammy awards, has given music for movies like Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, Brokeback Mountain and The Insider. 

He has been in Mumbai for a week. He came to get a feel of the city so that he is able to do justice to the music of Dhobi Ghat, which has Mumbai as an important element. 

Aamir, who also features in Dhobi Ghat along with Prateik Babbar, is hosting an exclusive party for the musician at his Bandra house before the latter leaves Sunday, says a source close to the actor. 

Aamir has extended a personal invitation to industry members like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu, Anurag Kashyap, his nephew Imran Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, Ronnie Screwvala-Zarine Mehta, Kunal Kohli, Shantanu Moitra, Swanand Kirkire and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. 

However, Shah Rukh said he won't be able to attend the party as he was out of town for a vacation with his children. 

Katrina and Kareena have asked him to host another party later because they won't be able to make it this time. While Kareena is travelling with her sister Karisma Kapoor, Katrina is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's next in Spain. 

Gustavo who is a Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar award winner began the night thanking Aamir for inviting him to Mumbai to work  on Kiran's debut film.   He then treated the guests to his performance and sang songs such as Chura Liya with composer/singer Shankar Mahadevan amongst other tracks around 2:30am which is when the party was just starting to warm up. 

Around 4am actor Aamir Khan decided to show off his skills besides acting and he sang , Orre Taal Mile ,Nadi Ke Jal Se, Nadi Mile Saagar Se, for Gustavo and translated all the lyrics in English for him.   Shortly after Kiran called the entire guest for dinner and Gustavo showed his appreciation for Desi food as he requested roti's to go along with his subzis.   It seemed like the entire guest enjoyed the night as well as Gustavo's presence.   It's become quite common now for Bollywood glitterati to host parities from artist who visit from around the world, and the film fraternity is definitely enjoying it!
