Religious barriers are of no consequence to Salman Khan who has been raised in a secular environment and has equal respects for all religions. His next series of paintings on Hindu Gods is and evidence of this fact.

Salman has always believed in following his own standards of morality as well as religion and from this honest state of being emerges his new series of paintings. According to sources he has splashed his own representations of Hindu gods like Shiva, Kali and a few others on canvas. He might do a few more of them to complete the series and hold an exhibition in Mumbai with them.

Dispelling the rumors of about a possible rift between good friends Salman and Akshay Kumar, Salman is presenting the first painting from the series to Akki and his wife Twinkle.
 

Salman-Akki friendship has been seen in many forms in the tinsel town with each doing favors for the other. Salaman did a song for Akki’s Tees Maar Kha for free to as a return favor to Akki’s walking the ramp at his Being Human show last year.

Akki has also donated his earnings from Kaun Banega Crorepati worth 50 lakhs to Salmans’s foundation. Touched by this gesture, Salman had been meaning to paint something for Akki for quite some time, so when he finally did paint, it was obvious that the first one would go to Akshay Kumar.

Twinkle, who is quite the art buff, likes to collect artifacts has already decided a perfect place in her house to display Salman’s work of art
