Salman Khan’s life during the infamous chinkara case is making its way to the silver screen. Producer Ranjit Sharma is making the film ‘Qaidi No 210’ that will recreate Sallu’s days of imprisonment in Jodhpur Jail during the case. 

There were many actors and actresses involved in this case including Saif Ali Khan, but Salman suffered the most. And as the prime accused he was behind bars in the year 1996 and also in the year 1998. According to a daily, the producer has started the research work on his ambitious project and met Salman’s former prison mate Mahesh Kumar Saini to throw some light on Salman’s life in the jail. 

Saini, who became a good friend of Salman during those days, thinks that the actor was innocent and has high regard for him. He helped Salman to cope up in the tough days. Producer Ranjit has now took Saini as the movie’s consultant. Reports even reveal that Chirag Patil, who is son of former cricketer Sandeep Patil, will play Salman’s character in the movie. 

Recalling the days he spent with Salman, he added that the Salman ate soyabean he prepared on the second night. Though it's not allowed but they managed to bring dumb bells into the cell for work out. Mahesh revealed that as Salman was bored he arranged a carrom board and a chess board for him. Salman offered to give him Rs.20,000 as a token of his appreciation but he had asked him to find him a job instead once he is released.
