Although she began with insisting that she has decided to not discuss her
personal life, she warmed up as she began chatting with Karan. One of her
observations was that all the heroes (read Khans) who are in their 40s
look like they are in their 20s. Karan not one to miss an opportunity to
probe, asked what she thinks about the 20-something heartthrobs (read Ranbir
Kapoor).
Apparently, they
all need to grow up, said the dimpled actress. While Karan pestered on,
Deepika too took the opportunity to ask Karan when she could be part of
Dharma Productions. Karan enlightened her on the number of suggestions
he has been receiving to cast Deepika opposite Shahid Kapoor. Everybody
is talking about Deepika Padukone’s newfound friendship with Shahid Kapoor
but the lady pleaded ignorance. Karan also informed Deepika that the two
have also been nicknamed ‘Shahika’ — a combination of Deepika and Shahid.
The answer, guys, remains a mystery to us too… as nobody seems to be spilling
the beans about this ‘door ka rishta’.
