Grapevine has it that Salman Khan has replaced Akshay Kumar as the host of the fourth season of Colors' reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi Palpably, Akshay was surprised when he heard the replacement rumors as Akki had already shot a promo of KKK 4 in South Africa in February.

However, the Bollywood Khiladi denied to comment, as it has not been officially confirmed by the channel.

The duo had last featured together in a track 'Wallah Re Wallah', along with Katrina Kaif, from Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan'.

If rumors are to be believed, Salman Khan has already shot the promo of the reality show in Bangkok, while shooting for 'Ready'.

And now, the channel is wondering how to inform Akshay about that.

"Salman shot a promo for KKK4 in Bangkok while shooting for Bhushan Kumar's Ready. He would never shoot a promo unless he had signed a contract. The channel is debating on how to break the news to Akshay who was kicked about hosting the show's fourth season,” a little birdie said. 

Buzz has it that Salman Khan agreed to lower his price of hosting the show if he's roped in for both, 'Bigg Boss Season 5' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4'.

A source revealed, “After successful runs with 10 Ka Dum and Bigg Boss 4 and his runaway hit, Dabangg, Salman is on a hot streak. He's friends with Colors' head, Ashwini Yardi. He has hinted on giving them a bargain a double deal for Big Boss 5 and KKK 4. The clincher could be BB4's higher TRPs than Akshay has ever had on his show for the same channel.”

Will Akshay quit?
If Salman Khan has shot the promo despite knowing the fact that Akshay was roped in for the same, you never know, one more Bollywood fight might be in news soon.

But if Akki has no issues and wants to quit, then he can as there is an exit clause in the contract. As per the clause, Akshay can quit whenever he wants to without breaking the deal.

However presently, everyone is pondering, how will Akshay react to this situation? Will the cold war between Salman and Akshay begin? Will Akki work with Colors ever again?
